Which shocks/struts to buy
This is my first post to try and help out a girl I know. She has an '05 Crossfire limited roadster and needs new shocks/struts.
I looked through 7 pages in the wheels, brakes, tires, and suspension area and then did a search for shocks and struts. Unfortunately I did not find much.
What I'm looking for are standard performance level shocks/struts at a good price.
Can anyone recommend some? Part numbers and vendors would be helpful.

For an OEM height application, you can't get much better than Bilstein.
Tirerack sells them for ~$110 each. Good news though, is they're warranted for life.
The rest (Koni, H&R) are all fantastic but a bit overkill for someone who only does street driving.

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Someone at her local parts/repair place had recommended the Bilsteins too.
While I was searching here in Tires/Suspension I noticed a bunch of people were very happy with the handling when they replaced their steering stabilizers. I'll have to find out the mileage on the car, but since the stabilizers are only about $30 would this be a good thing to replace at the same time?
I'm assuming she'll need an alignment when the new stuff goes on. It appears there is not a lot of adjustability with stock components. And assuming again, that a standard alignment "within specs" will be ok for her (middle of stock range)? Or should I have the alignment set to max aggressive within the stock range?

You do not need an alignment after changing the steering stabilizer....and it its just two bolts on and off...
Unfortunately the Crossfire is not set up for total suspension adjustment... only the toe and caster are adjustable in the rear... the camber arms in back are not adjustable and in front it is bushings on the control arm for toe and camber and not adjustable. You can get MB adjusting boltrs or Kmac bushing camber kits for the front and adjustable camber arms for the back(or Kmac bushings)... the Kmac kit is the best way to go in front... either solution is good in back...the adjustable camber arm is cheaper and MUCH easier...
