Thinking about new wheels, thoughts, opinions, suggestions?
TSW and all of the million rebranded TSWs are good options to sift through because of the offsets and 18/19 availability. JHM did all the grunt work on the wilhelms, I just copied but I would recommend them. The only real negative is the weight, for being bigger than the stockers they are basically the same once mounted up. If they had the same style/sizes but lighter I would jump right on em right away.
If you have any good wheel shops local (specially high end) you can try stopping by and giving them all the measurements you are looking for. They can do some homework for you and can usually find some options you wouldn't see otherwise.

The weight isn't as much of a detriment as many would think... with only three mods and Wilhelms on street tires, I cut a 1.8 60' time and went on to run my PB 1/4-mile.
I hear ya, I get about as many compliments / questions on them alone as I do the crossfire. They really are a great look. Agree on the weight/performance too, the difference is not going to be huge, it's more of mind trickery thing for me. If they are much lighter I feel like I am getting more out of them per $ than just looks.
You still have your eye on the TSWs? Sounds like you may have found some new options.

Oz Racing - OZ Racing - RACING - SUPERTURISMO LM
This would require quasi-murdering of all silver trim... Lots of work, but would be a sinister look.
I still love the Interlagos, but I've been considering OZ Superturismo LM as well

Always liked OZs, good all around and seem like they can take some abuse (speaking of abuse, cleaning could be rough on those
). The gunmetal look would be pretty tough. You're right about the trim though, definitely darker, not color matched to the car, still have to be accents. Would have to see how close the car/wheels looked. If its a good contrast I could see wheel colormatch or dark gunmetal handles, windshield surround/strakes(with a deep black on the bits between the strakes) for a mean look. Little splash of CF in there someplace too. Usually not a huge fan of too much but with darker colors carbon can really set it off.
JHM2K - Well done on the 6000 posts and patting yourself of the back about it!
You must tell me how you got a 1.8 60’ time as I am not getting close…arg.
Casey, I was looking at the VMR V710’s also with same offset issues.
I am also looking at the McLaren/SLR wheels(people will reference them both for the same wheel even though they are different)

And few more wheel links.
