Finally replacing wheels. 9.5" in rear
Chunks of metal missing from front passenger has prevented proper balancing and thus resulted in steering wheel vibration and whatnot for the past year.. finally getting new wheels.
The fronts are 18x8 +35mm and rears are 19x9.5 +35mm. Using stock size tires (had a spare set already laying around.. I think the front will stretch a bit but rear should be pretty acceptable for now, at least)
Offset calculator says the wheel would extend outward 6mm in the front. I think I can spare that.
The rear, on the other hand.. says I'll be tucked in an extra 7mm. Should I bother with spacers and long lugs on these?

I was only thinking how it would look.
About any rim can be made to fit but end up costing as much as a customs set of rims when you add in the spacers, bolts, mistakes etc. Cheap can be expensive. I think the fit is close enough to be driven on. If the rims are bought that's what I'd do before deciding on which spacers and longer bolts

I am in the process of trying to get some Stern ST-5's to work. The offset on these wheels are +35 in the front and back. The rear wheel is a 9.5" I put them on and they looked great. However, a clicking or slight grinding sound comes from the back wheel when spinned on a lift. I had the garrage take the rear wheels off after not being able to figure out the sound. The tires had plenty of clearance. The wheel was not making contact with the calipers or anything. We came up with the idea that the bolts that the wheel dealer sent me are to long. We tried the stock lugs and it was worse. So good luck and any suggestions for me? Would spacers help? If so any idea what size? lol
STOCK REAR: AFTERMARKET REAR:
19x9" 19x9.5"
5x112 5x112
ET 22 (offset) +35
255/35/19
66.5

If it is the lug bolts... take the OE wheel off the car, insert one of the OE bolts into one of the holes, measure the length protruding out of the back. This number should be matched by the new bolts' protruding out of the new wheels. (±2mm)
If the bolts are too long, they "click" on the emergency brake mechanism. Try pulling on the e-brake handle a little and see if the sound goes away. If so, the bolts are too long.
So I accidentally ordered 66.6 hub bore rather than 66.56 spacers. Is it worth returning these for the .5mm difference? I'm assuming yes but.. could be surprised. The factory lug bolts are 35mm or am I incorrect?
