Question TPMS ( Another Question )

Maybe Ronman will see this; Is there a ' generic ' tire pressure sensor that can be installed that can be programmed with either the 314.9 ( 315 MzH ) OR the 433 MzH ( that is correct ) for an
'06 Roadster ? I say no; but am being told by a tire shop it can ??
Nothing should be this difficult to sync to the onboard computer module ... any help please ..
p.s. I have taken the previous info provided to the bank as correct .. thanks

I believe some people have used a generic after market sensor to make it work. Don't you already have the correct Schrader sensors? There is no tire shop that can program the sensors to the car, they can only "wake" them up. They will have to be programmed with a DRB 3 or DRB 3 emulator. What is the latest update on your end?

Is there a mechanic here in Eastern North Carolina who is Forum member who can program these 433MzH pressure sensors for my '06 Roadster ..
Checked within a 150 mile radius from Moorehead City to Raleigh and no one has the DRB3 / horseshoe
magnet or the software ... Hmmmmmmm !! I'm still searching .. even the two
Mercedes dealers I contacted said no / cannot do ... thanks

The dealerships have the Micropod and the DRB 3 emulator is installed on there, they just don't realize it. The TPMS software is Chrysler technology not Mercedes. They might still have the doughnut magnet if not I think a transmission pan magnet that is a doughnut might work.

I'm not in Eastern NC but I do have the Micropod, the DRB3 emulator software, and a scanner that can sync the wheel sensors to the TPMS module in the Crossfire. Located in Upstate SC. Reach out to me with a Private Message.

There are sensors available that will operate at either frequency. There were a few some years back; there are more that way now. Reduces the inventory a tire shop needs ot carry.
