Sealant tank leaked out in the storage compartment. How to clean?
My tire sealant tank leaked out in the storage compartment. Can anyone suggest how I clean the mess? It's wet and gooey.
I have a spare cylinder I just bought off ebay, but other than that, are these things still available?
Is there any reason to keep the leaking cylinder?

How about a wet/dry shop vac, or a ladle or a turkey baster and a bucket?

Wear nitrile gloves and try scooping out as much of the stuff as possible. Then use rags to wipe up what you can. What ever residue is left maybe use goo-be-gone or some other cleaner on a rag and wipe it up.
Don't replace with one of the original tire sealant tanks, there are some available but they are way out of date and you may have the same problem you have now
you can use this instead: https://www.griotsgarage.com/12v-tir...repair-system/
The solution in your car should be water-based, and clean it with water before you put a chemical on it.

I took mine out of the trunk years ago and replaced it with a plug kit. I would not have used it anyway as it causes too much mess and damage to the sensor.
I have had two flats with my Crossfires, one was a screw and I fixed it with a plug. The other was a slash in the sidewall and a new tire fixed that.
