You did Rob, look at the date. Just called today and they are in. Did you get yours on?

 

No waiting for my new tires as they would not mount my 295/30/19 Yokohama AVS tires because they were more than 6yrs old......so ordered the Invo's for the rear and will have the Perelli's will be on the front.

 

Sucks as they look almost new.....8/32's tread on them and are perfectly good tires.

 

I should have taken them to my other tire guy on Federal and not Discount.

 

Those are sharp looking wheels. Are they the same width and offset as stock or do they require spacers? Heck i don't even know what the width and offset is on my stock base wheels.

 

These wheels are 18x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear and do not require ANY spacers and I am running the 4 pot calipers on the front. The SRT wheels required 5mm spacers to clear the calipers and forget trying to run 20mm spacers to get the N/A rims to fit the front brakes ......best rims I have come across all the way around!
Discontinued now but the GT06 ASA wheels fit like they were made for the xfire.

 

Vivid shows to still have these? What size tires are you using with these wheels since they are a bit wider?

For those of you that have these wheels, have you noticed any problems?

I've got a contact for wheels who found me a set. I can have them shipped to me tomorrow for right at $500, so they're a great deal.

However, I'm being told that these wheels were discontinued because there are fitment issues on the front. They had so many returned to them that they had to stop making them. The supplier doesn't know what cars had the fitment issue, so it might not be an issue on a Crossfire.

So I have a chance to buy them, but now I'm nervous because I'm told that the wheels are essentially defective. And, because the wheels were discontinued, I can't return them if I buy them.

 

I haven't noticed any problems. PM rob he might know, but he hasn't said anything to me. and we are the only two that I know that have them. where did you get this info?

 

I saw Rob's car on Saturday. The wheels look great. They are my favorite aftermarket wheel on a Crossfire.

The distributor is telling me why they were discontinued. Given that, and the fact that they are an as-is purchase, I'm going to pass on them. It's too bad because I haven't found a wheel that I like better.

 

Just a heads up if anyone refers to this thread: I ordered the 19x9.5 wheels from TireRack and it stated the 18x8 was out of stock.

I ordered two 18x8 wheels from Vivid Racing for $440 out the door -- and when I received them about 8 days later -- inside the box was a receipt dated for the day I made the order...... from TireRack.

The wheels are in stock, but they report out of stock for the Crossfire specifically.

So I paid $440 and Vivid Racing paid TireRack $275.52

Google for "ASA GT06 5x112 18x8 Tirerack" and you should be able to find the wheels on TireRack's site and not get ripped off.
