True, like said earlier, I'll probably build one with plans to keep it but keep the idea open for selling it .
as I said $40,000.00 in other words it is not for sale unless i get enough to build another
we checked it will fit. and we already have the front springs to hold it.

First most of you know my V8 was installed by Rudy, the engine i got had 4000 miles, on it, my car had 32000 miles on it . when i got the car from Rudy I took it to the drag strip, 11.7 at that time it had stock intake, a mild tune and a 172 pulley. I bought the engine transmission ecu and wiring. being this was #3, Paul,,#1 Beaner #2 , my cost was never set because i told Rudy that I may call him and want changes, I received my car July 3 2010 within 4 days I was on the track, it now has 60,000 miles on it and that is almost 10,000 miles on the track, 152 runs down the 1/4 mile . the only thing i had to do to my car was change some of the cooling system, July is 90 degrees every day and the street is around 120, today ,y car temps runs 189 eng and 55 iat my mods today are 2 1/4 exhaust, and tune by J S Benz ,,tcm with 327 gears by Rudy 172 pulley,,intake by Needswings
I have been following you on your . swapping a V8 into a crossfire and it is not for the everyday mechanic. I give you credit there. as far as warranty , that is up to you. if I was going to get another V8 or V12 crossfire (sorry but) Rudy would be doing it,,, if someone offered to buy yours, send that person to me $40,000.00 will buy mine, as the fastest crossfire in the world, it is worth more but , I could buy another one have Rudy install a twin turbo v12 and have 8 to 10 dollars left over, Justed priced a v12 $25000.00
Note: (My wife drives my car to the mall all the time) this is just to show how smooth it is.
why Rudy, you ask. I have seen his work, amd his work is tested every day an most of the crossfires on this forum.look up all the things he has made for all the crossfires.
as for cost I was ready to get a Saturn Sky and install a 5.7 zo6 motor & tranny in it was quoted 19000 for the car and 20 for a crate motor and 15800 to install ,, My crossfire did not cost me near that what it did cost me was well worth it, If you would like to go from 80 to 140 in 7 seconds come on down. what ever you do good luck. if i can do anything to help you let me know. jim

Edit My suspension and brakes were upgraded at time of the engine install.

Josh, Jim is just the guy to make it happen. But I was looking at the V12 long time ago. Problem is, and Jim has the same problem, is hooking up at the track. I watched a V12 spin all the way down the 1/4 mile. He never hooked on street tires. If you build a beast, you would like to drive it. The old vette's I had were drivable. Even the old Camaro's were manageable. But the blue coupe, is border line unpredictable sometimes. Again, street tires. Paul's car, the yellow roadster is still my favorite, Jim's and Beaner's a very close 2nd, followed by the none s/c'd cars. They all have their own personality just like yours does Josh. Unique is the word for V8's and a V12 would be a 1 off for sure. I will be happy now just to finish the coupe in time for the track season this year. If the suspensions pan out, then both will get the new suspensions and I may do some solo's with the roadster. She is the round track car...blue will stay straight. But, to own a V8 would be special for sure....and if you can find some old guys with CASH....CASH....CASH, then you are in business.....

thanks Doc I couldn't have said it better. and just so you know at 80 if I floor it ,it tries to go sideways. now, so the v 12 (if it ever happens) would have to have two ecu's just like i have now for my v8 the one for trips and street is way detuned, jim
