Yes, every Crossfire owner except you.

Try a wreckers yard.

It’s probably missing for a reason
i removed mine when I removed the switch that prevents the top from opening when the trunk lid is open

you’re NEVER going to need it

If you haven’t removed that switch ,then it should be on your to do list.

Hi Leroy. seems there aren't many online used crossfire part suppliers. I haven't had reason to use them yet (fingers crossed) but if you do a google search (some like it better than this forum search) with a keyword like 'crossfire rear trunk emergency hatch handle' (might have to shuffle/rearrange keywords), you might luck out. Gook luck on finding one!

I had done this a few years ago. Research on the forum called out an issue with the emergency latch, mechanism. This mechanism engages when you drop the top, it locks the trunk and prevents you from opening it when the top is going down. There have been instances when the latch would engage when the trunk was closed and set stuck. this problem was 100x worse on the roadster because if the trunk lid locks, there is almost no way to get back into it.

I don't recall,l all of the details but there are several links to this on the forum. The down side is that you have to remember to KEEP THE TRUNK LID CLOSED WHEN OPERATING THE TOP

It's is a piece of plastic, I just broke mine off so that it would never become a problem.

the previous owner may have already done it and the reason for the missing release cable handle
