Last week I asked for info on replaced the burned out running light in my Crossfire. The running light is inside the nacelle and cannot be reached by putting your hand behind the nacelle. To replace the burned out bulb you must remove the nacelle. This is the procedure for doing that. One other person asked a while back and no one responded to his request either. He spent $80 to have it replaced.

GOOD LUCK

When I changed mine from clear to amber, I used a needle nose pliers and a very small wrench and changed them both in about 10 minutes.

Maybe someone could explain what the running light and nacelle is.
I know what markers are, they are on the sides of the car. I know what position lamps are.

The "running light" term is often used in the trucking / bus industry, same as marker lights IMO. Nacelle as I recall is like an assembly, housing, or carrier(?)

In the aircraft industry a nacelle would have the engine in it. I believe other parts are called nacelles as well.

Here is what it says in the Service Manual on how to replace the bulbs, it's all done from the outside. As James says all of a ten minute job.
REMOVAL - FRONT MARKER LAMP
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Insert a trim stick (2) at the rear edge of the front marker
lamp lens (1), gently depress forward and lift out from the
fascia.
3. Rotate the socket counterclockwise and remove the front
marker lamp bulb from the socket.
The rear one is the same.
REMOVAL
REAR MARKER LAMP
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Insert a trim stick (2) at the front edge of the rear marker
lamp lens (1), gently depress rearward and lift out from the
fascia.
3. Rotate the socket counterclockwise and remove the rear
marker lamp bulb from the socket.
The Manual is here on the forum and anyone who has not downloaded it to their computer would be well advised to do so and save time not stripping the car to replace a bulb.

Sometimes the most simple questions are ignored as everyone assumes someone else will answer it. Guess not in this case.

I think FLcrossfire is probably referring to the "eyebrow" bulbs in the top corners of the headlights, which we all know are a PITA to get at.
If you do need to get the headlamp assembly (nacelle?) out there is an easier way: pop the marker light out and look through the hole to guide your tools to the lower headlight bolts which you can access through the removeable panel in the inner fender splash guard. The upper headlamp bolt removal is obvious.

Eyebrow light removal, replacement :
Use a long 10mm combination wrench and a screw driver.
Put the open end of the wrench over the lamp socket and the screw driver through the closed end of the wrench and twist to turn the lamp socket.
Remove the lamp socket with needle nose pliers.

Replacement is the reverse of removal, except apply a little pressure on the socket into the headlight assembly before twisting into position.

Easy Peasy Japanesy

Bit late to the party guys. LOL
I asked in post #3 if it was the eyebrow light he was talking about and he never said it was so we finally came to the conclusion it was the side marker light. He insists on calling it the nacelle and running light so he never made himself clear. On reflection and looking at his pics he does mean the side marker.
He did state that nobody helped him last week, I guess no one knew what he was talking about then so he decided to strip his car.
His last words were GOOD LUCK, I think he is a bit upset.
