check your flex disks!!
Re: check your flex disks!!
So my rear flex disc is already cracked after only 2 years of use. I do a lot of racing regularly so I'm wondering if there's a company that possibly makes polyurethane discs?
Something like this?

In addition, I would certainly trust Rob @ Needswings over an e-bay listing. With this part, anything but O.E.M. is a gamble IMO.
Re: check your flex disks!!
If someone went under the car when it was on a hoist it should be possible to see the part numbers on the flexdisks.
The SRT6 part numbers are in this post.

Re: check your flex disks!!
Hey guys and gals,
Just read through this thread and I am intrigued since I have been dealing with a lot of vibration on the highway and no-one seems to know what it is. I saw someone in this thread mention vibration, so I though I might want to look into this.
The vibration gets really bad between 70-80mph and seems to level out just a tad above that. I also have some movement when driving slower, like 20mph... kind of feels like I am riding a horse with the slight up and down action.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot this:
I'm done throwing money at this problem until I can find out exactly what the issue is.

So far I have done the following to troubleshoot this:
- New Shocks
- New Tires
- New Rims
- 4-Wheel alignment twice
- Had a mechanic look over the suspension and they did not see any obvious signs of bad bushings and such (however, I am not too sure this mechanic knows anything about these cars).
- Had my tires balanced a jillion times as well as road force tested.
I'm done throwing money at this problem until I can find out exactly what the issue is.
