Still look like new today
Took mine to Maaco too
They primed and painted them with SSB Urethane and then clear coat for $63.45

Spent about 2 hours using Meguiars headlight resto kit, passenger side turn out fine but the driver's side got some fogging and scratches inside...not sure how it got scratches inside!
image-4056948314.jpg Gave it a good wash after putting on my summer wheels with new rubber. I went with 1 inch more diameter to fill the wheel wells. Since these are 20" and 19" wheels I wanted more rubber.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Found out I have a dead battery today. The strangest thing happened when I pulled the battery. While I was disconnecting it, the alarm went off...it continued going off after the battery was totally disconnected. No battery power and the alarm continued to sound for what seemed like 5 minutes. So apparently the alarm system has a built-in power source?

I tried that. Both with the cables connected to the battery and disconnected. Neither worked. These cars have a mindset of their own when they have a weak battery. I just never knew they could go into alarm mode with no battery.

Over the past week I've been working off-and-on to repair the broken plastic bulkhead cap on my "damsel in distress" SRT6 coupe. If the seat(s) are powered back too far they put pressure on the bulkhead cap and break it. This part has been discontinued and is simply not available anywhere.
First I removed the bulkhead cap (it was cracked and broken into several pieces). I applied epoxy on the underside of the part to get it put back together. Then I re-covered the part with charcoal suede headliner material. I have just about 2 hours invested in the entire process. Overall it was an easy-to-do fix and I think it turned out great . . .

I used this material and their spray on high temperature headliner adhesive . . .

I also used the epoxy to repair some of the other damaged interior trim panels while I had everything apart . . .

Dang! All the meets seem to be "back East" or Waaaaayyy down South. Maybe when I retire i can take the time to drive like 8000 Kilometers round trip to the Dragon
Put a new battery in today. The 10 year old Varta finally caved in. Replaced it with one of the Forum recommended Walmart Maxx Everstart H-6. Direct fit. Got a little spooked for a bit....driving down the road the siren started...drove home parked it in the garage, pulled the #9? fuse, and started searching the forum for alarm/screem module replacement. All seems well now. Maybe needed to "settle in" to the new battery? (hope pray)
2004 SSB 6spd Coupe. Annnnd...... man it looks small next to the Jag
