What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Well after a good 1500 + klm drive to Yakima WA with no problems for the Memorial day Crossfire meet, I got the dreaded Check engine light at Home depot yesterday. I got out my cheap code reader and it was a P0335 CPS which I happen to have had in my trunk for 3 years! I changed it out today - can't say it was easy getting the little guy out but the hardest part was taking the wiring clip off. Now -No codes, No problems - thanks to the forum once again!!

I would add these to your rims (in yellow of course) to complete the look. Nice work BTW!

Today, I caved and went ahead and bought a new key remote for my Scarlet Rose. She only came with one key when I got her, so it was time I got another.
Dealer charged me 184 for the key after taxes and everything. Of course I won't let them "program" it for me hahahaha. They really insisted on them doing the programing, saying that it's a very "complex" procedure that requires the techs around 2 hours. I placed the order for the key and laughed my way out of the dealer.

What a bunch of a$$holes... You would think good customer service would be worth more than a hundred bucks, especially when they know it takes 10 seconds.
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I'll shove foot down their throat next time they even TRY to suggest they want to do the "programing" for anything. Good thing I was being a good sport when they said that, and decided to just laugh in their faces about their precious programing procedures which will take me only 5 seconds to do at home.

Prepping ole' blue for the Chicago 1/2 mile next week. Won't have the gear change as I had hoped, but we will see if we can beat our top speed of last year anyway. Only doing tree starts this year....no rolling starts... You want to race, we race the old fashion way.... Won't be the fastest car there, but will hold our own in the quarter mile.

The weather is *beautiful* in Indianapolis today, so I took advantage of it. Washed and waxed the XF, and took her out for a spin. Used it as an opportunity to take some topless photos and get some better shots of the new grille and decals
There's more in my album if anyone is half as excited as I am CrossfireForum.org - xme's Album: 2005 Crossfire Limited
