I actually installed my DCAI last saturday after having it sit in the garage for a year while I got divorced!! I've got a smile on my face once again. I also finally learned about the hood being able to go completely vertical to make it easier to work on the car, wish I knew that before.

I put the stock wheels and tires back on only to discover there was more than just esthetics to the Petrol Fusion 18x8.5s and 19x10s with their oversized tires.

Maybe in the spring I will revert to the Pertrol Fusions with some new tires. That crispness of response is missed.

The fusions lighter.
How much do they weigh apiece?
I looked at those but could only find up to 19x9.5.

I am not sure but they certainly offer more than just a pretty face.

There is a noticeable difference in the handling even with the Fusions having more worn tires.

Nice wheels. Well made. Quality product.

I filled up today and got 22.8 mpg 70% highway driving in LA traffic on a full tank. First tank since the DCAI install and that's the best mileage I've gotten in as long as I can remember.

I also ordered some michelin super sport tires and a new liftgate, so I've got some fun coming my way soon.

Another decent December day (not top down decent) in the Nati so I ungaraged my beauty and hit the road. First I checked all the fluids and the tire pressure to make sure everything was ship shape. Brought her home, wiped her down and put her away till next weekend. The ten day forecast says decent next weekend so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Been driving the Crossfire several days and still happy that I do not ever take off the Insurance or put it in to storage

Hahaha, wait till jan-feb.
40° right now in southern IL.
At least snow - ice does not last to long does here, usually a couple days. Except last winter had a descent stretch for a couple weeks.

Hope everything checks out. I had a doctors appointment this morning myself and found out that a nagging problem that could have been serious is nothing to worry about.

Great for you, sir! Thanks for the good wishes, too. It's been a long year...I have to schedule a heart surgery asap...have 3 90% blocked arteries...
