Default Gave My Side Door Cargo Netting a Face Lift!

I got tired of the saggy door cargo netting that no longer usable. Here is what worked for me and probably will work on other saggy cargo netting throughout the car.

Here is what I did:

1. I pulled taught the upper elastic cording
2. I gathered the ends of the cording an passed a needle and thread through both cords. I took the thread, tightly wrapped it around the cording then securing wrap with several stitches.
3. Tacked the excess cording to the inside of the cargo netting.
4. Now, the cargo netting has spring to it and looks new!

I’ll upgrade the brakes again in a few years. It’s taken me 5 years to get to this point

All of if these projects have kept me busy and it’s been a little pricey

but its been really enjoyable

time to just drive

I was gonna get an SRT6 and work in the other direction. I'd found someone online selling all the upholstery bits of a Limited Vanilla interior. Door cards, seats, visors, steering wheel, all brand new for $1900.00. Then he raised his prices by almost 40% so now it's a bit rich for me. Think I'll just buy a Limited in Alabaster/Vanilla and call it a day.

Had code P0140 , sent my RCM to DJ for repair. He didn’t find bad relays but it must have been bad solder joints. Installed it and code went away.

A neat solution to a common problem.

I replaced this shift handle that came with the car. It was way too big and stuck out like a sore thumb. It wasn't installed very well because it swiveled and wobbled. That was made it easy to remove, it pulled right off.

The car also came with the carbon fiber dash panels. They were professionally done and look really good to me. This new **** is just the right size and though you can't see it in the pic, it has carbon fiber sides that match the dash ... and it doesn't wiggle wobble or pop off.

I had the steering damper replaced, no sign of leakage on the old one which seemed harder to compress or elongate than the new one which was the same make and part number. There was nearly 39,000 miles on the old one. Basically it was a waste of time.
I had the rear axle oil changed as well.

I've used this crushable washer ever since I bought the 2007 Coupe and never saw a leak and/or had any issues.

These are also listed on Amazon under Dorman 65310. $6 & change for a pkg of 3; free shipping with Prime. Update - Needed to buy these washers and stopped by local Pep Boys earlier this afternoon. Package of 3 for $4.19 + tax.

These are only $1.40 for our cars from Rock Auto. Why order crush washers when you can put in an entire new drain plug for the same price? This looks like a quality part. There are cheaper plugs/gaskets for as little as $1.03, but they look the price.

I fixed the "aluminum foil" wrap that kept cutting me on the door pull handle by putting leather on it.

That doesn't look half bad. Is it from an EBAY retailer?

Agreed, there is only one thing wrong with it, I do not own it.☹️
That colour catches the eye, some years back there was a sedan parked on the street outside the Shaw Festival theatre and everyone one was looking at it.
