What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
You will need to remove the wiper arms and the plastic cowl.
You will find tons of leaves and debris underneath clogging the 4 drains.y
Use a coat hanger to GENTLY clear the drains ( don't knock off the rubber tubes underneath )
Eventually this can cause water to pour in through the fan hole and soak your amplifier and TCM,
not to mention ruining the fan motor and resistor board..

With the $6 investment in a dip stick it would be nice to get some more use out of it.

Finished putting the car back together after this years mods; painted hood and bumper again, refinished wheels, made new wing emblems and wheel cap covers to match, redid cannards and front splitter, made diffusers for the rear and fixed a few trim issues inside. My first show is Saturday, so I will take some pics then and post them..
Well, my first show turned into a rainout for me. After predicting fair weather all week, right up until midnight, the weather forecasters proved, once again, they know nothing. I awoke to pouring rain and I don't do rain, it's too hard for me now to do the total cleaning needed after driving in it. Pics will have to wait until next week. P.S. I also redid my hood liner insulation.

Went to car meet yesterday, saw my first Nissan Skyline gtr, with that R33 motor. Wicked car. Of course I am always the only Crossfire there. Thinking about having a nano type ceramic clear coat sealant done by this detailing place, $700 to detail the inside and outside plus the polishing and ceramic sealant done. He does good work, and some of his clients were at the car meet. Oh and saw a Camaro Callaway there, apparently the year and color there were only 3 made. Not really sure what all thats about.

I removed the headliner today. Thanks to postings here (and there) it was easy. I'm now uncertain as to when I will reinstall it (and fixing it, of course), however, as I'm 6'4" and loving the headroom! Not only that but the radio has a bit of reverb to it now!

I took Maybelline to the local upholsterer and had a new headliner put in. $200 out the door and it looks fantastic! The used the factory knit fabric that follows the contours nicely.
Plan for today is to jack her up to check wheel bearings and front suspension. Then do last minute prep to my A Mod for tomorrow's autocross.
