The SRT-6 is capable of 180 plus however I would never push mine that far. It cruises very easily at 120 plus.

Had mine to 130 for a short run, still had a lot of pedal (soon after I first bought it).

No sir, I did not use testers. I went to the local PPG Automotive paint distributor and gave him the code Mercedes Benz 969 XZA or PAK for the base coat followed up with Gloss clear (2 part catalyzed) from a rattle can. “glamour” clear(name on the can, I didn’t make it up) gloss finish. The metallic is bolder than the OEM finish

i used Matte on the first pass but I didn’t like how dull it was and I couldn’t get semi-gloss in the rattle can as a 2 part with hardener.

I was to lazy to set up my Painting gear for such a small project. The rattle cans worked great and I like the gloss finish. We’ll see how much I love it when I install tomorrow and go for a spin. I hadn’t given a ton of consideration to a gloss finish on these items. Gloss silver and sunshine in a roadster may become a problem with glare. Will advise once I’m done and will also include images of completed project

Label on the can for the clear Spray “Max 1K Glamour clear 388 2071
Label on rattle can for the metallic silver paint

I will also use the same paint on the windshield trim. I have 2 spare sets for swap out whenever they get badly chipped

My 2005 roadster was an early one and it has the gloss trim inside - no problems (all 2004's had it) I am sure anything you do is going to be excellent - love following your build!

If you like seeing a Crossfire being the center of attention then you'll love watching this guy pull a huge dent out of one. It's strangely satisfying.

nice video, but i would rather see a crossfire in competition ,whether it is drag racing or road racing or at the tail of the dragon . that is the center attention that makes a crossfire a crossfire.,, you tube has over 300 videos with crossfire's on a track and some on street.. ,I do not condone street racing but did injoy the videos.

Took the 2007 Limited Coupe out for a spin early afternoon while wife & I were running a few errands. After getting back home, gave the Coupe a quick washing & drying.

There is a local dent removal shop here in Greenville SC that has done some work for me on my vehicles. These guys have won competitions at SEMA shows and elsewhere across CONUS. Do some amazing things!!

I bought a replacement driver’s door pull handle seeing how mine has been broken for
like 10 years. I’ll be super happy once it’s installed

I've looked at EBAY in the past for this part. Where did you find one and how much was it?
