200 miles is quite a distance yes, but I am getting it at a good price. I treat it like a Sunday drive spending some quality time with my brother.
In Canada, RCMs are like $200-250 plus 13% tax. Plus I have lots of relays that fit the RCM in case it is pooched.
Thanks for the link to the replacing the lights. Unfortunately there was no mention of the garage door opener, but it reminded me to take some torx drivers!
I lied, it was 220Km round trip. Traffic was light in and around Toronto. Got the RCM cheap and the garage door opener module for $30. This guy Martin has two parts cars NCS leasing in Schomberg 16065 Hwy 27, Nice to deal with if you need parts. RCM looks pristine, no evidence of having been resoldered or monkeyd with. I will install this afternoon and let you all know. Ps to remove the garage door opener module, first remove the courtesy light so you can get at the wiring plug, then from the TOP of the module, depress the two plastic tabs downward. They are aligned with the two smooth grooves on the bezel. They are tough and depressing both at once is a chore. I hope the pictures help.

The newer radio controls in the newer models doors are not compatible with the door openers in the Crossfire. They change the frequency. Ask me how I know.

After a few weeks of waiting finally got my headlights back, halos fitted, new LED projectors and a good buff polish and protection coating.

When we had the new garage door opener installed, I found out that the remote openers we had in our vehicles (including the Crossfire) would not communicate with the new garage door opener. Found out we had to purchase another device to mount on the garage wall that received the signal from the existing remote & then sent an updated signal to the new opener to operate it. Ended up being simpler to just purchase new remotes that were compatible with the new garage door opener.

If it's professionally done they put a UV clear coat after polishing which extends the finish

The lenses them selfs have had 2 coats of ppc and all the electrical equipment as a life long guarantee. The work was carried out by EM Tuning in the uk. They do deal with customers from the states but this is the first crossfire they have done. New brackets were made to take the new Led projectors. All the hardware is high quality not cheap knock off’s.

From a fellow New Yorker (displaced), maybe add a "BACK OFF M/F" sticker on the spoiler (in neon or lighted, of course). How about THAT! LOL All the best with your modding!

FLARKIN AWESOME! Love the look! Keep on modding, you def have an eye (get it) for what 'lights you up' (sorry, not, but maybe bad joke?). Really, it looks fantastic!

For those with OEM window stickers for their Crossfire or any other vehicles, I've been buying the 11" x 17" frame below from Amazon. It really is the easiest frame I've ever used for keeping these OEM Window Stickers for display and/or safe-keeping. Price is very reasonable!

FWIW,

SO I am waiting for Top Hydraulics to return my pump and......... Reading and learning how to change the ATF . I like the 3 liter flush times 3. It is much like the purge I do on my Harley oil change. Harley has NO drain plug on the engine; you drain the tank. I learned years ago how and what oil line to remove to "purge" the system.
But first (tomorrow) I am changing the oil in the supercharger.
I LOVE RETIREMENT!!!

I finally bit the bullet and replaced the original radio. I bought a Kenwood KMR-D382BT Marine Radio.
Installation was very easy since I have a base roadster. Crutchfield provided a wiring harness adapter, so it was pretty much plug & play.
I should have heeded pizzaguy's words and done this a while ago! It sounds so much better and louder. I was also able to match the color of the display with the dash lights.

Followed some others' advice and screened in the left and right areas of the cowling in front of the windshield where the debris seems to find its way in easily. Had some scrap vinyl coated fiberglass screen laying around, cut a couple big rectangles and then started playing with them and trimming here and there to get them to sit in nicely, tucked under some of the plastic and way up in there to the left and right of the hood support. They work because I've been pulling debris out that has settled on them. Been in a few weeks now and no movement whatsoever. Also can't really see it when the hood is down. This sure beats pulling the wipers and cowling and cleaning out those end wells - especially the passenger side that is notorious for filling up if your car is left outside and subjected to leaves and such.

Now you tell me!
I must have most of a mango, part of a papaya, and plenty palm tree debris down there...
its the little round seed/berries from palms that get everywhere.
Price paid for shade.

Will be doing similar improvement after a cleanout.
Thx!

Washed Freya and tried out a Maxl coating spray. Also used a, "black wheel," cleaning spray that worked best if I scrubbed the wheels with soap and water. The wheels are stock, but were painted black at some point in the past. There are now little chips here and there. I'm thinking of just filling those in with touch-up paint.
I'll be having a new JVC stereo installed at Best Buy. I already have a phone holder in place so it will provide navigation, music, and phone and use the phone screen as monitor. I'll hold on to the OEM stereo in case a future owner wants to go back to as original as possible.
Been driving her almost every day, usually every 2-3 days for errands, regular meetings, etc.
