What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Thanks, I took that into consideration.
The best thing about having the Home Link garage door opener is that it frees up valuable space. Now that the hand-held opener is out of the console (I refuse to clip it to the sun visor), I have a place to put my phone.

Finally after much procrastination I did the "Sticky Ignition Fix".
One word of caution, do not remove the Phillips screws #1 and #3. These are a beetch to replace and the panel they hold will drop with the front panel.

Did you just edit the last post Dave ?
I could have swore it said "Sticky Transmission Fix" before, I was searching the forum high and low for that, came back and now see it says

A senior moment on my part.
Thanks. Had me all concerned that I might have the dreaded sticky transmission syndrome.
BTW: I don't have senior 'moments', I'm senior full time.

In today I remove the old killer chiller and installed the new New race model
to morrow I replaced the plugs and wires
Saturday I will replace all the rear suspension bolts
Monday I am in a heat exchanger as you know my car has none, it uses the killer chiller, today on the drive home it was 90° and my IAT's were 61°,
I am adding a heat exchanger and a three way valve, so I can run killer chiller only, heat exchanger only, or killer chiller and heat exchanger, I'm doing this just in case I do make it to the Dragon and it's cold I will need the heat exchanger not the air conditioner.jim

Well, I didn't do it today..... did it a week ago today. Got new tires all around since the original Conti Sport Contacts were in need of replacement. Got a great hook up through work on a set of Toyo Proxes T1 Sports and went with stock size up front but 275/30-19s out back and love 'em. Very quiet, immediate turn in, ride very nice, and gobs of grip! Oh, and the nasty tram lining I was getting from the old tires is totally gone so the car feels soooo much better now!
I then did my annual oil change but I'm now down to my last Mann fleece filter after having bought a 6 pack on ebay a few years back.

Got my eurocharged tune at the eurocharged DC open house today, lots of fun and lots of nice cars, including the eurocharged owners GTR, missing its spoiler that blew off at 195mph on its way to the open house lol.
Wellll......I gave my Crossie her first bath (by me) and hand dried her, still feel we are getting to know each other. When I was on my knees washing the wheels and tires I noticed the tires said made in Germany, so they are originals. I called garages the other day and kinda interviewed the mechanics to see how much they knew about Crossies b4 I bring her in for a checkup. One guy said the oil type didn't matter as long as Mercedes was ok with it....true? I thought Mobil 1 was the only one to use?
I popped the hood and checked out all the high tech stuff, wow. I have an automatic but couldn't find the dipstick. Found dipstick for the oil - or maybe that was the tranny? Is there anything that should be checked on a weekly basis on these little guys?
hotwheels (Dianne)

Oil change today - Mobile 1 5W50 and a Fleece Filter as usual. Just ordered my air filters and steering stabilizer - getting ready for the fall Dragon.
Detail next weekend, and I've got to make time to re-finish the driver headlight lens (passenger side looks new...)
But, my time is coming, I started the engine like I usually do to check for leaks and the water pump is talking to me. I stuck my face right down there, I'm sure that's what it is. At 95,000+ miles, it's time. I will still attend the Dragon, but I'm going to order a pump, thermostat/housing kit and hoses and get it all replaced here in the next few weeks.
It's time for 12 Bosch plugs as well...
