Ok, now do my "cigar lighter - glove box light" fix where they are both working with the key off.

(How else are you going to charge your GoPro batteries on a busy weekend?)

(VERY GOOD before and after pictures.)

I decided to do the "Sticky Ignition Key Fix" today BEFORE it became a problem. THANKS to the forum and to all who prepared and contributed to the excellent step by step instructions with photos. Taking my time it took just a little over two hours start to finish. Peace of mind and ANOTHER project checked off the Crossfire "to do" list! YEAH!

You know it looked good from the drivers seat.. but that angle makes me think I'll go take another look.. Just locked the sleeve in and slid the stereo into place..

Edit: Further inspection reveals the bezel surround is on a taper.. the stereo sleeve and HU itself fits squared off to the opening.. No big deal and sounds better even with just a right-left setup for now..

Wife found it on ebay.. she had seen a round Lucite online with a butterfly "embedded".. it was $80 bucks.. when she finally threw in the towel to go ahead and purchase it.. well "not available" was the online response.

She says these are available in multiple colors.

I painted my ugly *** French fry strainers today. Going to put them on the cars next weekend. Give them a week to cure. Still a little high from my little makeshift paint booth....lol I may take up painting as a hobby....

Being that I recently bought my coupe, I changed the oil today, and installed new struts on the trunk lid. I got a pretty good deal on the Mobil1 oil at Farm & Fleet; $5.29 per Qt.

You know.. if you used high temp BBQ paint.. undo 4 screws and you could be "da man".. at an open fire hamburger cook out..

Looking forward to seeing your work..
