No start, situation
No start, situation
Went out to start my Xfire this morning, got in depressed the clutch and turn the key to start, and nothing. All the normal idiot lights come on as normal, but nothing. If the key was left in the run position, the fan would start run, which I found unusual, never notice before if it did that? But I assume that, being electrical that it would only come when needed, and this was the 1st start in 2 days. Run and started fin 2 days ago. Any suggestions, if I can't fix it, then my only choose is to have it tow to a Chrysler stealership. Lots $$$$, then. Can a standard transmission Xfire be push started? Any help, suggestion welcome.

Re: No start, situation
BTW got no response from tighed1, either phone or email. But for now problem solved. thank you all pointing me in the right direction. $35, a little time, cheap at twice the price. But I'm take my solder gun and solder with me just in case, I'm not the best solder in the world, but it works that is all I care. Again, a shout out to Pizza Guy, George and Dave for their help and suggestions.

There are cheaper places than this though some new ones for $120 to $140.
Search the forum for places to buy them.

looking for advice suggestions
no start yesterday and again today.
Its not the RCM. I’ve just soldered up the three connection points that are the culprit and the fan does not turn on when attempting to turn it over
yesyetday it started after sitting. And it started again today
cluld it be starter or have I missed something on the RCM
My guess is starter it turns over twice but dies before it actually starts. Any suggestions or test procedures to narrow it down would be appreciated

I had continuity between all 3 contacts so somehow they were touching somewhere. Which wouldn't let me access the ecm and couldn't get it out of park. It would give me a p0600 code. Purchased a new one from rock auto. I'm still going to send the other one to tighed1 so I have a spare.

Can you hear the fuel pumps when you turn the key to the 1st position?
What about the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors they could cause trouble. Also study the relays in the RCM when they key is turned do the fuel and BCM relays move? Is there any signs of sparking damage on the relay contacts?
