Just want to share great deal I found on OEM keys. Chrysler dealer in Windsor Ontario. I ordered and received 2 new keys, programmed and cut for my car. Price was $160.50 ea. Canadian $ which is approx $120 USD. Had to provide ID and registration scan. Looks like keys came from MB LLC out of Texas.

I was very skeptical too until everything was confirmed. Kept expecting a callback on price but didn't happen. I received the keys in 6 days and synched them with the car for remote locks and all is good. Skreem unit comes up as $795 Canadian. The parts tech was Kim. She called me for my registration info and was great to deal with.

 

they must have had excess stock on hand or do not realise the prices skyrocketed recently, great find!!

 

This is an amazing find!! Wonder if they will accept orders for a key to a USA-delivered car? Would that fact alone really matter? So many times, buying a Crossfire from either the current owner or a car dealer will net you with only 1 key.

Interesting to see that another remote key FOB is listed for $843.75 CDN at this dealer. Part number is different from the one ordered above, but both state fitment to a Crossfire.

 

maybe they updated a new part number that is less? i'll check today and see.

 

curious to hear the results of a direct contact regarding price verification and if they will acceot ordsers for u.s. registered crossfires.

Well Canada finally gets a break on cost and availability
Often vendors won't ship to Canada and if they do there are oftentimes many other charges associated with an shipment to Canada from the states etc.

 

You are correct, some will not ship to Canada, some insist on Fed Ex or UPS and that entails brokerage charges and import taxes.
You just cannot best the USPS, cheaper with no brokerage charges and often with no added taxes by our Canada Post.
Let's hear it for the pony express I mean USPS. YEAH!
Sadly many of the same things you can buy these days from Canada or the US can be purchased cheaper direct from China with free shipping.

I can and did get 3 keys / keyfobs , with the key cut all for $48 each ofcourse i had to do some research on programming them , but all work great

 

so are you going to share the information or is this something that needs to go through you to get accomplished?? the information would be valuable to others besides me i'm sure..

So will it work if my car was imported from the US to Canada. My guess is that it won't.
