The RFID chip is almost impossible to acquire. No matter what physical form the key takes, it needs the RFID chip, properly programmed - and that is not solved by your idea.

Has anyone tried remotes and keys.com they claim they can get keys. Im a little skeptical. I've started looking my car only came with one key.

They take your order, charge your card, then in 24-72 hours, they refund your card and tell you "sorry"....

sorry i dropped the ball on that whole deal. I was trying to help , but someone on this forum called the place and raised all kinds of hell. Not sure who it was but im sure they do. Not sure why they would want to ruin a deal of getting a key for less than $100 but thats ok i use all 3 of mine for the 05 limited and will be going soon to get the same deal for my 05 srt

Are you serious? That’s so messed up. Nothing like ruining it for everybody else. At least I got one I just never got it to sync up like yours did. Maybe with all the work everyone is doing I’ll be able to use it here soon. I’ve seriously thought about just putting the RFID chip behind the dash, IDK.
