Long Trips
Last week I was faced with a 10 hour drive from Las Vegas to see my brother in Paradise, California. My choices were my 2004 XF or my 2018 Challenger.
For many of those 625 miles I would be 100 miles from the nearest town. (favor Challenger). For 75 miles I would be going on twisting roads through the national forests (favor XF). Since I am 77 the deciding factor was seat comfort. My challenger seats are more comfortable than the Crossfire. Do others find the XF seats hard for long trips? Six months ago I bought my XF in Portland Oregon and drove it back to Vegas. My *** is still recovering. Not unusual on these trips to hit 120mph while passing trucks. Both cars do find.

I rarely feel any discomfort when arriving after these many long drives...I'm 61 years old now - 6 foot 1 inch tall / 38" waist
This is where Gary (Valk) and I disagree. I am 63, 5' 10" and 218 pounds. I have owned two limiteds and now own my SE Base model.
The Limited seats are hard and horrible. The Base seats are soft, comfortable cloth.
I put it this way: In a Limited, you sit ON the seats. In a Base/SE, you sit IN the seats.

Thank you, Pizzaguy. Valk must have a high threshold for pain, or has better seats.
I can understand how the base model would have more comfortable seats. The seats in my Limited are hard..
