I've just found the site to where he bought his dock at spec.dock - complete iPod and iPhone vehicle integration

That looks awesome, but from their site, I dont see anything that'll fit our car.....

Is there anything else similar to this out there?

Yes, that hole under the radio is for an iPhone. Just pop it in there and the tunes go through the dock connector and the phone part goes through a BT adapter.

 

Wow thats a crazy dash! I guess that would count as long as the iphone was held decently without crashing around. How did you get that trim piece?

 

We custom made that entire dash piece. It connects via dock connector to the headunit. It's lined with felt so it doesn't bounce around in there and get banged up. It's available here

 

Well, realistically I dont want to replace all those dash pieces, I just want either just that cubby or somewhere nice I can put the iphone to plug into the deck.

 

My I-Pod is locked in the glove box and hooked up to my Alpine stereo which controls it. I don't have an I-Phone but the cup holder which I rarely us proved a good holder for my wife's Blackberry on recent trip to the beach.

 

That's where my Blackberry goes ^_^

 

I have a Kuda base. You can find it on ebay for about $50, plus the holder $11. Matches our interior.
