Default Electrical problem... HELP!!!

Since passing my Crossfire on to my girlfriend it has developed some kind of electrical fault.
The car is a 2004 Limited.
The problems started about a month to six weeks ago.
At first the battery kept draining. It seemed to happen in cold weather but this could just be a coincidence. The car has had a new battery.
Since then it has gotten progressively worse. The indicators started to turn themselves on as and when they wanted, which when happening a lot over night was obviously not good for the battery drain.
Now the alarm is also starting to play up, sounding off as and when it wants and taking a lot of button pressing to stop.
I have just got home from jump starting her after work and now the passanger side indicators are constantly on.

Can anyone suggest what the problem could be to try and help me being charged a fortune by an auto electrician?

well, it may have a new battery, but I would start right there...take it to an auto store that can check out the battery that is in it now....if the battery is good, then alternator would be my next look...as well as all electrical connections starting at the battery, then all the ground wires, fuse boxes etc, etc....good luck, but those crazy things happen when the battery is drained...could have a bad cell...

It sounds like a battery / current problem to me also. Do you happen to have mices or squirrels around? They like to get in the engine bay and chew up the wiring. Then you get shorts and all kinds of wierd problems that are hard to find.

Doc is right though, get the battery tested. Even if it is new.

:After you determine the state of the battery, if it continues, should it re occure, try disconnecting the connectors to the relay control module one by one and monitor the effects. I had a loose connector and got odd effects, might be as simple as the durn control mod fix, Woody enjoy.............
