Amp Issue
My interior got pretty wet in a downpour and dried up fine. My radio is working , but no volume from the amp. The fuse under the hood is OK. Is there fuses on the amp itself? How do I get to the amp and, if neccessary, what should I do to replace it ? I miss my jams....
Thanks.
Thanks.
Amp is located under the passenger floor area, the carpet is easy to pull up to access it, if you start from the furthest up under the glove box, it will peel right back.
Not sure about fuses, and if you do need to replace it, ask around here for a used one first, because some one else recently posted they want over $1500 for that OEM amp and it isn't worth 10% of that IMO

There are 3 fuses that have to be checked:
Fuse 5 (15A), Fuse 8 (15A) and Fuse 23 (25A).
Fuse 23 is for the amp. There is no additional fuse at the amp.
The fuses are located in the engine bay on the right side fuse box – if you stay in front of the car (and if you have a LHD).
