Default 04 crossfire, no audio...need help.

okay i let my crossfire sit for a while and the battery died and i had to jump it multiple times until i got it to a charger. anyways no audio or music or anything will come out of the speakers. is there a code to enter or something i am missing? It plays cds and changes stations but nothing comes out the speakers.

Now the bad news is that i found a little mice poop under the hood and it looks like they chewed a little corner piece of the under hood liner thing im not sure what its called, i can take pictures though. Either way i hope they didn't get to a wire and i think it would be odd to for them to just get the wires that would makes the speakers not work. I don't know if it matters but its all the speakers that don't produce audio. They used to work the whole audio system did and it seems it still does everything but make noise.

So if anyone knows anything and could drop some knowledge let me know, thanks. Its a 04 with 9082 miles its brand new basically. I know it was dumb to let it set but something came up, thanks for reading.

Is this a base model, or a Limited ?
The reason I ask is that the base does not have an external amplifier, the Limited does.
If it is a Limited, then fuse 23 in the under hood accessory block could be blown, or the mice could have got to the head unit <-> amplifier wiring.
( the amp is mounted to the white painted metal panel at the front of the passenger side foot well. )

Sounds to me like jump-starting the car may have hurt the Head or Amplifier.
I'd check fuses per the post above.

On the other hand, finding evidence of four-legged visitors does not sound good, either.
Maybe pull back the carpet/trim on the passenger's side and take a look at the amp and wiring - again, if it is a Limited.

He says it's an '04, so it is not a base or a Limited technically, although it is what became a Limited.
So it has an amp.
