Not to start anything with you.. but did your car jack up.. or did you jack it up..
You can't wreck one then call them all a POS because it tracks sideways down the road.. not really a fair assessment on the car make.

 

Let's refrain from adding insult to injury. I'm just here for positive advice & opinions about what is wrong with my car.

 

I think the dealer dicked me over. It was allegedly a rental car but as of today, I don't buy it. A week after I bought it, it was in the shop for a week .. & a week after that it was back at their dealership shop for a month. I'll admit I have done some interior damage & there's a few scrapes & bruises .. When I got it in the end of 08 it had about 23k miles & only has 65k currently. Because a water jug accicdenlty busted in the back, yeah it's my fault. I should sue Krogers for their faulty water jugs.

 

I'm so sorry I don't give my car a kiss goodnight each night. I bet I hurt her feelings & that's why she has been a *****.

 

I can live with that.. but please don't judge Crossfires by your own personal experience with one. The most common problems for these cars is really a short list. If mechanics type work is beyond your abilities then the only option short of a DFW member volunteering there time and service*..would be an independent shop. I mentioned the rubber plug on bottom of the trunk as a "maybe" if the water was drained and a few days for the component to dry out. . . you might get lucky and be done.

* (and yes this does happen quite often amongst members here - we "regulars" go beyond forum members and almost to a cult family with these cars)

And it's well noted.. 9 out of 10 "Chrysler dealers" don't have a clue on these cars short of throw parts at them after scratching their butts for a week while you wonder..

 

I'm 5'9, there's no way I could crawl in the minimal trunk space to work on it. Know any little people?

 

You can be 10'2" and still fit under the car.. that is where the plug is.. one on each side of the trunk.. lowest point in the trunk.. closest to your face laying on your back looking up.

A RUBBER PLUG is there that you can use an exacto knife to slit.. "tank" sits right behind you from the drivers seat.

Already own a Roadster and a Coupe.. but hey if the price is right.. What color and cedar interior by chance? Just tell me it has a really big wing on back of the trunk and we can work a deal..

I just found this thread by accident. Quite amusing I must say. But in 2006Crossfire do yourself a favor. Stay far far away from your vehicle and use a bike instead - you shouldn't operate a car by all means!!!

Hope the Crossfire has been sold to a new and worthy home, I'd hate to see child abuse like this happen before my eyes!
