Default Ready to install new head unit

I’m ready to attempt to install my new Kenwood head unit. Last year I added the capacitors to the factory door speakers as per the “Biggest Bang for the Buck” mod. Should I remove them before installing the new head unit or will they continue to help?

(His question was answered on Facebook. The answer is: "Leave them in there.")

Yes, I’ve been advised to leave the capacitors in place even though I change out the head unit. So that’s what I’ll do. Hoping to get this done in the next few days.
