This time, I'm having a problem with the turn signal switch located on the left side of the steering wheel. I have to press the stalk up hard for the right turn signal to work.
I've determined the part number is: 5098519AA.
Unfortunately, this new part is unavailable in Poland. I don't want to spend money on a used one, as it might soon have the same problem.
There are several listings for a new one on eBay, but the price is very high.
Therefore, I'd like to ask if anyone knows if it's possible to disassemble this stalk and rebuild it, i.e., clean and bend the internal contacts.
Have any of you ever done something like this in this car?

Here is a switch ($21.00) located in Germany. Ask the seller what he would ship it to you for Turn Signal Same switch that is in the Crossfire.
@zip439 Thank you, but as I mentioned earlier, I don't want to spend money on a used switch.
I've already made an appointment with my mechanic and showed him the above video and the documentation.
The mechanic said he'll rebuild the turn signal switch and also replace the seat control relay, as I mentioned in this thread: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...justments.html
These two repairs are expected to cost up to $140.
I had the same problem and blew some electrical contact cleaner in the crevices surrounding this area. Based on the video above I knew the issue was buildup on the contact points. I had already purchased a used switch and disassembled it to clean it so that helped me know how I could best insert the spray nozzle straw. An avionics friend of mine made the suggestion to try this. It does sometime still not respond perfectly but it's so much better. Who knows? Maybe you'll have complete repair with this hack. It's definitely a low cost option to try beforehand if you haven't already replaced it.
Also I suggest putting the switch in various positions during the spraying to get the best chance at accessing these contacts. I believe I had the car battery detached and let it sit for a several days after as well.
I have a request.
Since the mounting brackets have come loose, I'm looking for a plastic cover (possibly a used one) that covers the steering column and electrical components above the driver's feet.
It was unscrewed and lowered during the work described in this thread; it's also visible in the photo above.
Since I don't know the English name for this component, I don't know how to search for it on eBay, for example.
Can you help?
I think this is what you are looking for. Use this for your search.
CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT
Ensure that it is for a left hand drive car which I think your car is by the pictures.
Several are available on EBay in North America but that probable won't help you with shipping charges so high.

Tomorrow I will try to find this item in MB shops in Poland.
I'm also considering welding this plastic cover - the upper right handle that holds the cover in place has broken off.
I received a quote for these two parts from the MB store: $1,060!
But unfortunately, Mercedes no longer sells them.
So, I'm left with repairing these two parts by welding plastic.
