Default My new interior : Maybe Recaro??

I finally completed my weekend project. I installed Blk/Gry SLK seats to replace my fabric covered base seats. It looks great and the best part is that it is heated seats. I just have to find a set of heated seat switches and I am ready for cold weather. I ran across a few problems but it is done. I have attached 2 pics. Note SRT SIX's plaque on the bulkhead. Now I just have to go out and buy a bottle of Lexol.

I also found something interesting under the SLK seats. the tag reads,
"Recaro Keiper" on one of the tag. Does that mean our seats are manufactured by Recaro? Does anyone know about this?

I don't know about "Our" seats but it sounds like yours are. Our seats don't look like yours so I don't know who manufactured them. Other than the shell casing looking similar the leather pattern is different. Looks nice in your car though. Glad you worked out the bugs.

Nice job. I might like the look of the seats better than those that come in the Crossfire. Definitely like the adjustable headrests.

The plaque looks good. I moved mine to the bulkhead as well.

Your seats look great!!! Are they 8 and 4 way power or are they both 8 way power seats now. I wish I could have my passenger seat also be 8 way.

I like the color combo.

Excellent job, they look terrific. Actually I'll like to get rid of the power seats and just have sliders. I'm not all that picky. Like the colors and the separate head rests look nice.

Nice job.

porterhouse you new seats do look great! I do like the adjustable head rests. I know you found the wiring for the heaters under the seat have you check for the switch wiring yet. I recall reading where someone was adding fog lights to their base model and said the wiring was there for them. I found that odd that they would build two different looms in this day and age.

The Toy I do believe that his SLK seats are manual adjust similar to the ones he removed; I think his Crossfire is a base model if I'm not mistaken.

Actually, they do not have lumbar support. the **** is for reclining. Believe it or not, the SLK seats are identical to the base Crossfire's seats. Only difference is the covering. MB = leather, XF (base) = fabric. Overall, I am very happy how it all came together. The best part is that it didn't cost me much at all.

Like the base Crossfire seats, they are 6 way M-A-N-U-A-L. For example, you have to turn the big **** 7-8 times to recline the seat 20 degree. However, since I am the only driver of this car, set it once and don't have to touch it again.
