~ just the opposite...actually owning a home would improve/increase your beacon score...

just be sure to pay that mortgage payment by the 1st...

So how do you go about refinancing? Can I refinance with Wachovia? I have a checking, mortgage and a couple IRA accounts with them.

Well, I bought one. Not the one I was looking at originally. I bought a like new Red '04 Coupe with 19k miles for $17,988. It is very sweet.

How many other young folk are on here? I think there's another 22 yo like me, and then the 19 yo?
Yes, I'm 22. Though I really don't have any credit history, in fact, the loan I have approved for the crossfire (should it ever show up) will really be my induction into the world of debt/credit. Since I just graduated last summer and soon heading into medical school I've never had much time for spending lots of money. Probably best...
