A wedgie... I'm rolling on the floor here. What a name. A thong would sound much more appealing!

Can anyone post a pic of their OEM cupholder?

I'm getting an '06 which has the storage bin. I parked next to an '04 last night and noticed that the where my bin is, there is a flat silver panel on the older car; does the cup holder flip up when you press the panel?

Don't have a picture, but Yes. When you push down on that plate the cupholder pops up.

I think you must have had a bad one. Mine never pops up unless I push down on it. I use it all the time for my coffee cup.

Used mine for the 1st time last night. My father-in-law brought along a can of Diet Pepsi. Worked pretty well.

I use mine frequently - with no issues - except when I go round corners too fast and some slops out of the drink hole.
I've even smashed it with my elbow a couple of times (whilst it's up) getting in the car and it still works great.
It holds a beer bottle perfectly, besides coffee.
I believe the Cyril Baldwin (I think) stores his gun there - there's a pic somewhere!!!

Thanks for the pictures...
No wonder that thing rips through styrofoam cups!

Here's a random thought, they haven't changed the centre console for the RHD models; so us Brits would have to reach across the cup holder to get to the handbrake...
