Leather Question
Being somewhat broad of beam, I really abuse the left bolster on the drivers seat getting in the car. It is the first contact point for my ****. After 4 months, it's showing signs of stress. It looks wrinkled and creased. (the bolster, not my backside).
Might any out there have a suggestion as to something I can apply to minimize the bolster wrinkles and keep the leather looking good? I have some Leatherique, but before experimenting I thought it prudent to ask.

62thunderbird - I'm not sure how to remedy this.
I do know that Corvettes are notorious for this problem. I'd jump to one of their forums and see if you can find something.

I always noticed this on every 911 and BMW 3 series you see too. What I try and do is put my butt in first toward the end of the seat and then slide in, down and around into the seat back, avoiding the bolster completely. Have the car 2 1/2 years (true only 6,000 miles) and NO sign of bolster wear at all. Avoiding black or dark seats helps a bit too, you don't see the cracking as much.

I'm talking about the bolster on the seat back too. Put your butt in the car way down at the end of the seat bottom avoiding the side bolster altogether. Then slide in towards the console and spin around into the seat never touching the side bolster at all.
I, too, had this problem. At 225 and 5'8", I made contact with the bolster
and was worried about the threading being worn away, letting the seat
cover come apart. So, and this was my solution, I decided that since I
didn't want to tear up the car I would instead tear down the personal bulk.
It wasn't easy, but I went on a strict, vitamin supplemented, 1 meal a day
plan. Over 6 months, I dropped from 225 to 160, and the problem went
away.
Sure, it won't easy, and I know it won't work for some folks as the problem
is not always consumption induced, but I by taking in less calories than my
body would consume during a normal day, I was able to shed the weight
pretty quickly. Added benefits are reduced blood pressure, reduced
blood sugar levels, reduced cholesterol levels (though still higher than I
want), better heart rate, to name a few.
Now, if I can only apply that same power of will to giving up the smokes.
Of course, it may just be easier to re-cover the seats every couple of
years...

multi-vitamin once a day. Eat nothing during the day, and a less than
normal meal around 6:00 pm. No snacks, nothing. Do this for 4 days out
of each 7, and eat light meals during the other 3 days.

Off topic but,
Oh man that's brutal, effective but brutal. Seriously that is probably only way that really works, get the resolve and stick with it. You deserve congratulations but be sure to complete the process with a daily exercise program you can stick with. The key to keeping the weight off is to convert as much of your body mass to muscle as possible so it will require more calories just to breathe. Like driving a Hummer compared to a Toyota hybrid.
