which one is faster slk 320 or xfire? 0-60, 1/4 mile and lateral g's?

I think it was Motor Trend magazine that did a comparison test between a 2003 SLK320 vs a 2004 Crossfire. Both were Automatics.

I believe the SLK was nearly 3/10's faster in the 1/4 mile even though it was heavier. The magazine attributed it to the SLK's smaller wheels and tires.
(less rotating mass).

The Crossfire had it all over the SLK in the handling department, for the same reason. Its big tires.

When I find the magazine, I'll post the specifics.
