Default Crossfire console

I have a 2005 Crossfire limited. How do you get the console piece over the cup holder off. Is it just clips or are there any screws. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to understand your question and believe that you are asking about the silver part that you see when the cup holder is closed. I took my cup holder out and replaced it with the storage bin...but, I was just looking at it and it appears that it snaps onto a pin on each side (you should be able to see a small hole on the sides with it open). The problem is the back side which has springs attached and seems to rotate on a rod or large pin. I'm not willing to break it to find out if it will snap off or not. Good luck with whatever it is that you are trying to do.

Its not the cupholder cover. Its the piece that surrounds the cupholder. The larger piece which also surrounds the electric mirror switch.

Go to the sticky for the repair manual. The RM has a step by step procedure.

Did you get this sorted out? Found everything I needed using search but basics from memory.

Lift silver plastic around shifter, unscrew 2 screws holding front and rear console together pull up bottom liner in rear bin, unbolt, get some hot water to help lube the Ebrake rubber handle, pull that off. Lift entire console up slowly, disconnect any wires (extra stuff for roadster as explained in above linked post)

There is a thread that has a few pictures from a couple years back. If you still have troubles or can't find it let me know.
