Hey. Thanks for the reply, but Fix It doesn't help me a lot what is it supposed to look like for the roadster? Can someone take a picture of their window AFTER the TSB was performed? How about a picture of a roadster that didn't need the TSB and worked fine from day 1?

I'd say that regardless of what it's supposed to look like, yours is definitely not right. Take it in and let the dealership figure out whether it's related to the problem with the TSB. If it's not... you still need to get it fixed.

Hey. Thanks for the reply. I had it in the dealership. There is no more warranty so its not their responsibility anymore. They looked at it very closely, I was in there for an hour with them, and they couldn't duplicate the road noise on the highway So, they can't guarantee that the TSB will fix the problem because they can't duplicate it.

They said that the TSB could actually make it worse if the window doesn't need to be moved up.

That's why I'm looking for other peoples pictures to give me an idea of what is normal.

I have a 2005 coupe that has the driver's side door misaligned. With this car, all my dealership cared about was that the window operated and gave it back to me. But my driver's side window sticks out slightly beyond the weatherstripping compared to my passenger's side window is totally sunk beneath the weatherstripping. I ended up moving the driver's side window on my own with the help of a thread from this forum.

I guess the only relation I see between our cases is the wind noise and a slight gap between the weatherstripping and the window. The gap for me was along the back of the window and not the top. It is easy to change the angle of the window and to adjust the back of the window. From adjusting the window I get less water entering the channel built into the weatherstripping when washing it, however the wind noise is pretty much the same. Sorry, but I didn't take any picutures during the process.

Man, that really does sound like it... But my window doesn't come in contact with the roof. Do they mean that little lip that comes down on the convertible top? I don't think the glass hits that when opening/closing the door.

I think it's a common problem with these cars coupes and convertibles I get wind noise from the pass. side I haven't had it fixed yet because I haven't seen any water come in yet plus I don't want to risk them making it worse. In your case though I would have them look at it before it gets worse and causes more problems. I'm not sure about the TSB but they're pretty much the same in one way or another (the windows are f****d up). Take the pics that you posted with you so they can see the problem. Even if you have to pay $100 deductible it will be worth it in the long run especially if it's leaking water into your car.

if you want that fixed correctly, take it to an MB dealership- that top has everything in common with MB and nothing in common with Chrysler. They are very difficult to adjust correctly and require a factory trained tech. You will have to pay to have it done.

Thanks for the advice. I never would have thought to take it to an MB dealership.

I'll let you know what I find out!
