Default Trouble with lights and locks

We went out to eat tonight and came home with a broken car.
I got out and tried to lock doors with remote. The doors did not lock, but the turn signals flashed 3 times like they should. I tried this several times.
That is when I opened the door and found out that dome light and cargo light in trunk no longer work either.
Info I can find leads to a fuse under the hood, but I could not find any fuses blown.
I gave up for the night because of the cold.
I just thought I'd check if anyone else has run into this.
If not I'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks,
Rotten

congradulations you have blown a fuse... it might not appear blown, but it is... crossreference it to the fuse numbers page located inside the fusebox and replace the according fuse..

i am 100% certain as such has happened to me

Yes Sir Sidez, It was Fuse #9 under hood on left side.
It was no trouble to find, but my patience runs out fast in cold weather.
Thanks,

The real question is why did it blow? Glad you fixed it, but if it blows again I would check to see if you have faulty bulb or something else.

I had left the trunk lid partialy open a while back and drained battery completely.
Probably got warm at that time, just not quite enough to blow it.

Well, that's a good theory. But mine automatically turns the interior lights out after about 10 minutes to prevent the battery from going dead... Leaving the hatch open should kill the battery.

The roadster is apparently different than the coupe. The trunk light does not time out.
It stays on until battery, fuse or bulb are gone.
Check out these other 2 posts. My guess is some of them just work and some just don't.
