Removing Windshield Wipers...
Hello another question by me again.. I can prolly figure this out on my own, but I would like to ask because that usually leads to me breaking something heh..
I need to remove my windsheild wipers and I am not talking about just the blades i am talking about the full arms.. I poped the hood and saw that they were attached by 1 bolt each but after looseing and removing those bolts the wipers would not budge.. am I not pulling to hard or do I have unscrew something in the bottom? Is it more complicated than I am making it sound?
Thanks in advance

I guess I have to really shake violently cause that thing is TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT...
it feels as if they are screwed in from bottom as well... I feel as if i shake and pull any more violently somehting is going to break.. and at the pace I am pulling I dont feel it moving up at all..

If I were you I'd go to auto zone or a parts store and get one of these so you don't damage anything. http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

Don't take this the wrong way, but...
I've read this thread- from your first post to your last (just before my reply).
You say you usually end up breaking things.
You say you can't remove the windshield wipers.
You say you're going to do some mods.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE RESULTS!!!
Woo hoo... what tools are you using - a can opener and a hammer?

I can't immagine what mod you would be doing to windshield wipers. But you are aware that the driver's side and passinger's side are two different lengths?

On the contrary - I'm having a great day.
As my first line read...
Don't take this the wrong way, but...
Which you obviously do, and have zero sense of humor.
You left yourself wide open for a quick light hearted jab with your own statements.
I have no problems with anybody doing anything to their car.
I do, and am planning on doing things to mine, and there will be write-ups, and I will expect criticism and perhaps mockery, but I will not start crying.
It's my car, not yours/vice versa - which takes me back to the sentance starting with... 'I have no problems...'
If you haven't already tried...
Spray some WD40 or similar substance onto where the wiper arm assembly is attached to the spline on the motor.
If you are trying to remove the wiper blade assembly with the blade still on the windshield in the down position, trying hinging the blade off the windshield and trying to remove it then, even though the spring is not strong, it is strong enough to make it bind on the spline.

12mm to remove nuts off of wipers
4” gear puller from pep boys $24.00 to remove wiper arms
I was worried about attaching the wiper arms but they just pop on and tighten up with the 12mm nut. No sweat, however you must use a gear puller to remove them! Do not try to just pull them off it won’t work.
Search alarm chirp and you will find my pictures of what you need.
