So I picked up a GTech-Pro RR for $175, but I can't get the RPMs to sync correctly. I set the red line to 6000 RPM and then it asks me to rev to 4000 RPM and then 2000 RPM to do a sync and it doesn't end up reading the RPMs correctly. Did you guys with the GTech have the same issue?

Also is there any good advice for using this device?

 

I had alot of trouble with this. One of the preset settings got me the closest I could get to being right.. It was setting 30. I also had trouble getting the number of cylinders and aftermarket ignition option set up, I had to go back 4 or 5 times to get it set up the right way. I think it may have something to do with the 4000 rpm limiter, It might be easier to change it to 3900 and do it that way

 

I did pretty much the same thing as Downwardspiral......

If I remember correctly, I think I used something like setting 6 or 7......then I sync'ed it at 3000 and 1000 RPM's. It's been spot-on since then.

It took a few tries for me to get it right too.
