Default Oh boy

I offically scared myself on the way home from work. It was pretty wet out, because it rained really hard for about 15 minutes, so I'm guessing the oil from the road was pretty much floating on the thin accumulation of water on the road. Me and my buddy from work are tooling around in our cars, just breaking the tires loose and whatnot. We come up to a really easy turn, not even going fast and I'm in 3rd gear. Out of nowhere the tires break loose. I'm in the left lane and my friends in the middle, so I'm trying not to hit him while trying not to hit the curb, so I'm pretty much throwing it back and forth, praying not to let it get too sideways (in third gear which made it very odd to modulate the gas to straighten out.) thankfully he moved and I straightened out. I'm pretty happy right now that I didn't damage either of our cars and no one got hurt. I've never been scared behind the wheel of that little car, but I guess there's a first time for everything! I know how the car behaves when its wet, I mean I have no problem controlling it in wet weather, even when I try to get sideways. I guess I'll take it easy in the rain from now on..

Contis, plenty of life left. I sure am too haha, It didnt come anywhere near spinning, I was just between a rock and a hard place (lincoln lsc haha) A couple more degrees off center and I'd be complaining about something else right now.

sure was, but I almost never have it on. I guess I'll leave it on in wet weather from now on!

The TC does a very good job on this car on slippy road surface. I can feel the tires starting to lose grib and the left and right wheels brake individually, and the car makes tiny left/right correction to stay on path. Interesting feeling.

I feel like its too intrusive, especially in dry weather. I feel like if it starts to get loose and the tc kicks in, I would still be inclined to correct for the oncoming skid and actually have less control than I would without it. I guess in the rain it would just slow everything down, I plan on using it only in the rain.

I have done the same thing, it was raining out and I asked the gf if she would like me to test how good the tires are in the rain. She said sure so I turned off the traction control and hit the gas a little. In .000002 seconds we were fishtailing towards the guard rail lmao. I got it straightened up and I looked over at her and said, "well I guess not that great lol"

I agree, remember the old time, my previous car does not have TC, and I used to slid through the corners, it was awsome.

Interesting that now I have a much better performance crossfire, but I don't do those crazy stuff as offen as before.
