$2,500 Help!!
Hey everybobody,
I have posted the same problem under another thread. I too have a 2005 roadster. I had to turn the car off and restart it. The top, spoiler and abs lights went off and the top worked just fine, however when I went to put the top up the windows went up first. I had my mechanic check the battery, alternator and starter everything checked out just fine. In the thread here the dealer reset the CPU. How can I reset the compute?r I remember reading something here about turning the key to start, then pressing the accelerator to the floor until you feel click. Would this work? I have been a memeber since 2010, and I bought the car last year. This forum had helped me fix a lot of the annoying things and I really appreciate all the posts for the problems I had. Still love this little car and get many compliments on it. Thanks for any information you can provide.

The windows do go up when you put the top up at the end. The key and throttle is for a throttle reset. You can always take your battery cable off the battery for an old fashioned ECU reset. It may work for awhile, but what codes are you seeing or which lights are on? Maybe we can help you figure it out.
I had the same lights on in the dash and the wing would not come with the red light flashing.
The fix was to replace the pass side front wheel sensor and reset the connector plug on the ABS module and then clear the code. Then after driving like above 20 mph for a few seconds it reset the ABS/BAS lights. Make sure of the codes before having ANY work done and the star scanner does tell them what exactly is wrong and where. I know it seems like a lot of technology is a bad thing but in this case the car will give the right codes when scanned and very specific repair info. This sounds like a problem with the TCU and not reading the speed sensor on 1 of the wheels.

Hey guys,
As usual I got some really great information and I appreciate all that I find in this forum. I will take it in to my dealership ASAP. If I didn't find this forum I would have sold the car within months. By the way, I have the best dealership in Florida, John doesnt charge me to have his Crossfire tech look at my car! Also gives me a break on regular service too.
Again thanks
