Default Supercharging The Crossfire?

Dose anyone know where a supercharger kit can be bought for the base model? Apart from the supercharger on the SRT-6 is the engine the same? there both 3.2ltr engines but I'm not sure if there the same.

No they are not the same. The AMG has a lot of forged components for s/c use.

It seems theres no real way of putting a force induction on the base model unless you spend big money. I want to increase this cars performance but I'm really stuck for ideas! I started with an exhuast and I'm thinking of putting twin pod filter set up but I dont know if that will do much!

TVT just started another group buy on the TVT 265 kit. It's had nothing but positive reviews, is proven performance, and is fairly cheap. Look in the Group buys section, or I actually started a thread on the coupe section with a link.

The standard M112 V6 engine uses a forged steel crank, "hydraulically cracked" hollow forged connecting rods, pressure cast aluminum block and a rigid 90 degree design (same as the M113 V8). The bottom end is robust enough to add a blower! I've also read the M112/M113 bottom ends are good for 250,000 miles before needing a rebuild.

Instead of adding a blower, buy the SRT model that includes a beefed up tranny, brakes and suspension.

But then you lose the cool articulating rear wing!

This is MORE than worth the trade off.

Search 'the official eaton supercharger". Chuck Norris has succeeded with this and is going to put together a kit for sale.
