Default Please Help!!! Electrical Issue

For some uknown reason, the 10 AMP fuse for the interior lights and security system keeps blowing. I think it also is connected to the rear wing because it doesnt work either, and the little led light on the manual wing button keeps blinking. I replaced the fuse and it worked for a short period of time and then it did it again. Can someone please help me or give me an idea where I should start to look for problems. It seems to me something is shorting out but not sure.

Any help would be great.

Blew the same fuse at the dragon for no reason at all (if it is the same one as the interior lights and security system) replaced it and have had no problems since.

Have you changed out any bulbs or done any modifications to anything??

I havn't done any modifications other than installed new door speakers. I put in a new amp and sub also but I don't see why that would affect that. I took my radio completely out to see if that stops the problem.

I had a side mirror that kept blowing fuses. It was because the dealer went in the dash and pinched a wire. It was obvious they caused the problem. I was always told that if a fuse keeps blowing, there is an electrical short. Maybe you touched a couple wires together and didn't realise it.

It is a matter of elimination. 1st..What have I changed/added electronically to my CF. 2nd..Did this happen before I installed an electronic component. 3rd..Is it intermittent or does it happen all the time. Probably a short in the new wiring. Or wired wrong. Crossed existing wires or knocked other wires loose. Re-trace everything you did if #2. You'll find it. If not you will definitely find the answer in this forum. This forum is the best source for CF info you'll find anywhere. Good luck.
