Default Wheels

I was just outdoors trying to clean the inside of my wheels. Hard to reach. Where do you guys jack the car up with a floor jack. Is the rear end safe? What about the front end? Thanks

I use a deep wheel brush and some good wheel cleaner to get'er done. Much easier than taking the wheels off every time you wash.

Wheel brushes for spoke wheels, deep set spoke wheel brush, large wheel brush, wheel brushes

Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush, auto detail brush, Wheel Brush, Tire Brush, Detailing Brush, Corvette brush, Mercedes brush, sport wheel brush,

There are jack points just behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. I use a sponge and scrunch up my hand to clean the rims, but always end up with little cuts.

What I found helps...at least once a year I remove the wheels and clean them thoroughly. Meguiars tire/rim cleaner works real well to get tar and brake dust off. Once they are clean, I compound the inside of the rims to smooth and clean them further, then I put two coats of Turtle Wax on the rims. (I use better carnuba base on the car.) With the wax, most dirt washes off with a high pressure hose and sponge cleaning is easier.

Hi:
Try a motorcycle shop for a "spoke brush." shaped like a long skinny christmas tree, the one I have is about 10 inches long, dirt cannot hide.
Hope this helps.

good one preacher, I use the same kind of brush...and for those really little areas, a shotgun barrel brush...soft round cloth tip, looks like a large cue tip...LOL

hey doc:
yep, got one of those out in the garage, was my dad's, never thought about using it for that.
Is that your rig? I got 32 years under my belt, still driving part time local, sometimes I miss the road, but my Church likes me to be there on Sunday, since I am the Preacher, lol
