I ordered CAI along with some other items from TVT Design 5 weeks ago, the CAI w/o the engine cover finally came today. However it has no instructions, has any one put TVT Design CAI on there car, if so do you have instructions? I ordered CAI with MB engine cover, plugs & wires on 7/24/09 the CAI came today 8/26/09 no cover, plugs or wires Has anyone else received such service? I would think twice before doing business with TVT Design!!

 

This is pretty much the norm....but they do have a good product. None of it comes with install instructions and you either find out the hard way...or you find out from someone else that found out the hard way. That has been my only complaint (and suggestion) since day one.....installation instructions.

I don't believe they keep much in stock. When they get your $$$, they order (or make) whatever it is you ordered, and then ship it when they get it. Long process but good stuff. Hopefully someone will chime in with installation tips for you.

 

Thanks for the information, I wish I would of known about this ahead of time. I will do more research next time. If no instructions does anyone have a picture of there installation?

 

I say cal TVT directly.

 

I have tried several times & all I ever have got is his answering machine. I have also sent numerous e-mails to him. The customer service in my opinion is non existent. He has told me several things like tracking numbers & delivery dates that haven't happened.

 

I had trouble with them. Parts didn't ship, no documentation what-so-ever, hack job on the engine cover.
The product (though unseemly) does work.
If you have a 6spd, look into the "Sprint Booster" also.
