Default Multifunction Tool Located

Everyone was talking about this tool and I never saw it in my car. I have a 2005 base coupe.... original owner and purchased new 4 years ago.

While cleaning my closet I found all the original paperwork... booklets, temporary license plate and even the plate frame from the dealership. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found the tool in my box. I don't know what to do with the tool but it is nice to know I didn't get stiffed by the dealership. I am also glad I didn't accidentally throw it away!

Glad that you found your tool and started a new thread to let us all know. Please be careful and don't lose it again.

I was happy and had to express it somewhere... besides, my wife doesn't care and doesn't want to hear about it

Never put your tool where it doesn't belong.

Wow... I have made it 49 years now, and I have never lost my tool before. Not even once. I am happy for you that you have finally found it. Now that you don't have to worry about getting stiffed, you can take some time to figure out what to do with it.

You can do more than one XF with one tool if you know how and when to use it.

I use my tool on anything and everything I can. I even let others grab ahold and use it! Don't be shy

one important use would be to remove the front lower gril cover in case you would need to have your baby towed. If you have a roadster you need it to raise the top in case of malfunction. Come on people what are some more uses.

Breaking the door glass so you can get in and sleep it off after someone took the key because you had too much to drink.
Releasing the auto transmission from park to neutral without a key so it can be towed by the local police department, because you had too much to drink.
Chiseling a hole in the cell wall so you can escape from the local lockup.
I could go on and on, its priceless, don't leave home without it.
