Where is the coolant level indicator mark on the coolant take? ( Cold level mark when full ). I can not find it. I know there is a low coolant level sensor...but is there a visual indicator level on the tank some where?

My tank doesn't have a level marker on it either. I would fill till it is about 2 inches (5cm) from the top, since that is where mine has always been since new.

 

Looking into the coolant tank, you will see a plastic 'fin' on the inside (upper left corner when standing by the fender). The coolant should come to the top of that 'fin' which is about an inch or so below the cap. Overfilling can actually cause overheating issues.

 

Thanks....Mine is a 1/2 inch or so below that mark. I am trying to figure-out weather or not I am loosing coolant. Every time I start my car, and the fan is on...I smell the sweat smell of coolant for about the first 30 seconds of operation. Any thoughts?

Bring it up to the top of the mark with some distilled water and keep checking it every few days if it is your daily driver. If it isn't dropping, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's possible some could have come out the overflow, giving you that 'sweet' smell for a few seconds.

 

By fin do you mean the white post thingy that sticks out horizontally from the rear end of the tank or the black bead that runs around the inside of the tank. No matter really as they are on the same level. That is a good level to keep it at even though I can find no mention of the indicator in the manual etc. But I think the white post is the indicator.
If you use the word fin some people will start looking for a small fish in the tank.
