Count me out.
Sheesh, Talk about a microniche. You people create a forum in tribute of the Crossfire, then all you can do is cut it up and look down your noses at your $34,000 two seater sitting next to your $38,000 mini van, or your $40,000 Grand Cherokee/Exploder/Excursion/What-have-you. It's like you bought a Fiero, or something, and by the way you people talk, sometimes the Fiero WAS a better car, to hear you speak.
You resent the car, you resent the dealership. You resent the tires. You expected better. Better then what!?!? Tell this frustrated Tech what would make any ONE of you happy. I can fix ANYTHING except a preformed opinion. You people are really putting the CUSS in Customer, and it's hard enough explaining and fixing LEGITIMATE problems with UNDERSTANDING customers without advise from you nitpickers telling people to get their *** up on their shoulders the moment they walk into a dealership. You ought to know, CrossfireTech, you're in the business, or so you say.
Y'know, unless you roll into my dealership to get properly 5 star serviced, I think this is goodbye.

Good luck with keeping your job. If your dealer or Daimler Chrysler sees this post I don't think they'll appreciate what you have said about the customers. They put the "cuss" in customers? Its customer service that you offer we don't like. Remind me never to go to Belmont, NC for service.

I didn't wish him to be fired, if anything I wished him goodluck. I just believe making a comment and relating yourself to a business is not good practice. Especially if they are not involved in the opinion. As a public company I do not see how the executives would like their employees making sharp comments to Chrysler owners. He basically said he wouldn't want to service customers with problems about the Crossfire.
What got up this guys butt???? Crhytec you put the cry in chrysler! You must be new to the business.People complain about their cars if they spent 10 grand or 100 grand.I understand when someone buys a new car they expect perfection and they should. When they have a problem their going to complain and most dealers give them BS.This forum would offer nothing if we didn't discuss any of our problems or dealer issues. You haven't offered more than a few wise cracks anyway. You sound a little jealous....are you??? Good luck and Goodbye

This is just the guy we all dread running into at a dealership, whether it's a Chrysler or a KIA.
There are too many of these guys out there with a chip on their shoulder.
This one really puts the *** in assistance.

Wow!
Has the freezing rain made everyone a bit cranky today?????
Let me state this for one and all to hear:
I love my Crossfire! My dealer has been great to me. The only time I got pissy was when I was told I would have to wait 21 days to get two tires and wheels. And I have solved that by buying some almost new Crossfire wheels and tires for spares, along with winter tires to keep me on the road. To me, that made sense, to others it may not.
But to keep the thread going, I guess I am the Jim in Jumpin Jiminy!!!!!
It is T-Minus 44 days until spring....
:-)

He is 100% right. When you buy something, especially something as expensive as a vehicle, you expect it to be damn near perfect or as close as you can get. We also expect and demand "good" customer service when we go in with a problem. If you think men get talked down to, ask my wife or any other women the line of bulls--- they get.
Poor quality and bad service are what kept the American auto industry down for many years. Most American auto makers now boast how proud they are of the great strides they've taken to improve the quality of their products. (Doesn't one company still advertise, "Quality is job one)?
This is a forum for people who own, wished they owned, or are looking for information on the Crossfire. Because we discuss our problems and vent out frustration does not mean the car is crap or we dislike it. Some of us, myself included, had problems with their car. Most got them fixed, some easier than others. ...and yes, having to wait "eight" or even worse "21"days for a replacement tire is absurd.
The bottom line is: realize that folks here are talking about "their" car to each other, be it good or bad. We pound are chests with pride of ownership, we're looking for information and how to get things fixed. We vent when things are not right. If you don't understand... you don't need to be here.
It's Friday... another great Arizona weekend is upon us, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and it's going to be in the mid 60's all weekend... gotta hit the streets and enjoy #2815. What a ride!!!
BTW: If something craps out, you bet I'll be here come Monday morning pissing, moaning and complaining about it till it gets fixed. That's just the way it goes. Later....
8) :P
Opps, almost forgot...

Crhytec.... What you need to understand is that we're just like parents with these cars. I can call my kid an idiotic moron and say he's worthless as all getout. But if someone else says it, they're in for a fight!!!
Does that help you understand???
The Crossfire wasn't forced on any of us. We all chose to buy it because we want it. True there are some that think it should have all the amenities that you get in a $65,000 car. But in the end they too bought the car.
So get your shorts out of the severe twist you've put them in and join the rest of us here on this planet.

You guys are all hilarious! Cry in Cryhtec! *** in Assistance! HAHAHA
Anyhow I've never complained about Crossfire, but since the issues are brought up here are mine. I wasn't able to get a loaner or rental at another Chrysler dealership (not the selling dealership) for my warranty repair. So I had to drive back to the selling dealer to get my car serviced. The Crossfire was at the dealer for close to 14 days, and this was to replace and oxygen sensor that went out prematurely and add camber bolts. The car pulled extreme rights while driving straight. I was told some cars need them some don't. I don't understand why camber bolts didn't come on the car straight from the factory if they were necessary to keep the car going straight. I was told it took awhile because they had to special order the bolts and oxygen sensor because it wasn't an item they keep in stock. However I didn't complain about it, the selling dealer offered excellent service and didn't deny me a loaner. I didn't mind the wait because it just meant that my Crossfire saw less road wear. For anyone in Houston, Archer Chrysler offers excellent service and I highly recommend them to anyone.

BTW: The other dealer was giving you a line of........ You have the right to take your car to "any" dealer in the country. The "Chrysler Premium Care" plan is valid at any dealership. It is also transferable to the next owner as long as the vehicle is still under warranty. You should of received a copy of the plan directly from Chrysler withinin a week or so of your purchase. Check it out.
What's all this fuss about? We discuss various problems with our Crossfires to help others that might be fighting the same problem. AND the Crossfire has been virtually trouble free - mine has had none.
I bought a brand new Volvo 960 top of the line. Within weeks the brakes went south and had to be replaced as well as the bushings in the front suspension, the air conditioner leaked, trim pieces fell off and the paint flaked. All problems taken care of by the dealer and I still have the car. But my Crossfire is rock solid and I LOVE driving it.
Crhytec brings up good points and presents them well. If I had to listen to a bunch of Bozos (not us  ) at a service desk all day about a car I knew to be fantastic I might have posted something similar. We shouldn't get on Crhytec, I have read his posts, value his opinions and hope that he continues to contribute here.

Sigh... I had a bad day.. my birthday, nonetheless, and got my own *** up on my shoulders before I realized it. I owe anyone I've offended an appology, and I hope I can convey it as a heartfelt one. Being a Yankee, living in NC, you'd think winters here would be a breeze for me but this one is really gettin' to me.
I've had a string of 20-hour weeks clear back to November 11, and it ain't easy making money being honest. But I am, brutally so. When I see the guy next to me selling parts a car doesn't need and getting away with it, I get a little nutty. Especially after being critiqued for my own work, knowing it's been good. "After you rebuilt my differential the engine knocks... It wasn't like that before..."
I vented.. I'm sorry.

Crhytec..... Where stress related Melt-Downs are concerned, I live in a glass house. Having been there and done that (more than once) I, for one, certainly can't hold that against you...... Welcome back!!!

Sorry about the above quote with no explanation, I haven't posted but a couple of times and didn't understand how the quote thing worked so I screwed up. I wanted to ask Crbytec where he lives in NC. I live at Kure Beach which is a very small beach town just outside of Wilmington, NC. We have a lot of Yankees here thought you might be one of them. Just curious.
