Count me out.
[quote="rtbyrd"]Sorry about the above quote with no explanation, I haven't posted but a couple of times and didn't understand how the quote thing worked so I screwed up.
No problem rtbyrd, everyone gets a second chance here, just look in the upper right hand corner of your post for the "edit" icon, click on it and edit your post. Also it would save space if people deleted the unnecessary parts of quoted posts. See above. We have all read it before anyway.
And Chrytec, nice to have you back. No apologies necessary and we now count you in!

Chrytech,
We're happy to see you back!!!. It takes a big person to come back and say what you did, my hats off to you. I guess we all need to lighten up a little, myself included. Seems like we all have been at each other the last few days... it must be the moon phase or something!!!
This is a great forum with some very good people helping others, yourself included. If it wasn't for the info and advice I got here, #2815 would still be popping out of gear.
Hope things pick up soon, my job's been slow since the holidays too.

krusty,
Nope, Miami... a side street one block north that runs parallell with US 60.
Thanks for the idea tho. Mrs AZ Outlaws just said to me this morning while we were out having breakfast and running errands in #2815, "we need to get out of town for a weekend". We don't care to hit LA or San Diego in a two day weekend. We haven't been to Bisbee in awhile. I think we'll head down there next weekend. (If the weather is good  ). We did drive down to Tombstone for the day right after we got the car. The ride was the best part of the trip.

I've got to say that this is one of the most civilized car forums I keep track of......perhaps it says something of the kind of people who buy or are simply interested in the Crossfire. A little heated debate (so long as it doesn't get personal), is always stimulating and to see this thread rounded off with maturity was very satisfying, not say redeeming, as for a while I thought it was about to slip into an ugly word fest of the kind seen on lesser boards. Well done everyone.
Crhytec...I think it's time to get out of that dealer! They will drive you nuts if you let them.I think the economy is picking up. I have customers spending big money on repairs and service in my state. The auto repair business is tough...you can make a killing one day and be in the toilet the next.
First of all, I would like to thank this forum for being influential with my decision to buy a crossfire. I love the comments here and its only thru this forum that you feel great joy of having owned a crossfire. Knowing the crossfire's flaws, the day after I bought my crossfire ( I have to travel 200 miles to get one as the salesmen around my area turned out to be a bunch of morons ) I went straight to the local dealership and have my passenger window fixed. Through this forum I learned ahead of time what I would need to do and the local dealership has been very nice and wonderful with their service. ( By the way, I dont know why they dont have any crossfires in stock...maybe they sell it pretty good because of their good customer service. ) Now Im enjoying the luxury of having most of the attention anywhere I go. I love my crossfire!
I'm from Tyler , Texas and I bought my crossfire in Conroe. Tyler dealership is wonderful but unluckily they dont have a stock at that time while i was out shopping for one. Henderson dealership is a place to avoid, they're trying to sell one but don't have the personality for it. Imagine this, the day after our price hustle ended in a failure, they called my wife and then checked MY credit because my wife approved it. Hey, thats my credit and not my wife's! Then I talked to the salesman who told me that I dont know anything about it cause Im not a car salesman. Well, when did this guy become so high up with himself? Yup, I've been there.....used to be a drug rep, now CEO for the two companies I own...and this moron tried to tell me something implying he's better than his customers...No wonder why their crossfire is still hanging in their lot for almost a year now. Call it BAD ATTITUDE!

I once learned, in the electronic world, it is too easy to press the "enter" key. It's like dropping the letter into the mailbox. Sometimes an apology is too late. Luckly, here in this forum, apologies are accepted...
Take a deep breath, read it twice, then press enter. Look in other forums, BMW guys complain about their $60k machines, and PT guys complain about their $20k toys too. If you really want to complain, buy a motorhome and see what all can go wrong. This Crossfire is really great. It is the most perfect car? No, but its a darn good car for the money...I like mine. I just don't like the weather here today...See? I am complaining about something I didn't buy
Come on Spring...

Hey Chrytech you baby...
I have only posted on 1 thread (until this one), I don't load pictures and I bought one of the first Crossfires in Houston, Texas (if not THE first one).
The people on this forum are nice, helpful and light-hearted everyday people who only want to talk about the experiences with their cars.
My only motivation for writing in the first place was because my car has been in the shop for almost 30 of the last 45 days.
So buzz off dude. The problems are rare but the people who spend this much money on a "gamble" of DC deserve to own an automobile with minimal problems.
Maybe you've been in the service industry too long. Sounds a little like you are tired.
Do you even own one?

I feel for you scottc...mine...I just brought it in today for the PS wind noise and to have my illuminated sill plates installed.
1.) Didn't receive a call from the service advisor that they wont be able to work on it today. At least a courtesy towards a customer that they don't have time for it since the door adjustment is FREE and my CF is no priority.
ops:
2.) No rental car since no repairs were done and my car is hanging out exposed in the open overnight for rain and dust in their lot.
ops:
I just hope that they wont clean my car ( unless they handwash it with 100% cotton towel and Zaino No. 2 ) and that my CF will retain its showroom luster...same condition when I brought it in.

On the other hand, I'd suggest you read some of the paperwork you got with your car to find out what's going on. It spells out very plainly you are entitled to a free rental when you drop the car off for anything but bodywork. It helps to know what's what....
